Terms of Service

Last updated 12 August 2026

These are the terms for using One Click Jitsi. The important part is the division of responsibility: we automate infrastructure inside your cloud account, so some things are ours to get right and some are yours.

What the service is

One Click Jitsi provisions and manages Jitsi Meet servers inside a cloud account that you own and control. We supply the automation, the dashboard and the support. We do not host your meetings, and we are not a party to your relationship with your cloud provider.

Jitsi Meet is open-source software published by its own project under its own licence. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the Jitsi project. What we deploy is that software, unmodified in substance, which also means you are free to take a deployment over and run it yourself.

Your account

You need an account to use the service, and you are responsible for keeping its credentials secure. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been compromised. You must be old enough to enter a contract in your jurisdiction, and if you are signing up for an organisation you must be authorised to do so.

What you are responsible for

  • Your cloud bill. Servers run in your account and your provider bills you directly, at their prices. Our cost estimates are approximations to help you choose, not quotes, and they exclude storage, data transfer and anything you add yourself.
  • Destroying what you no longer need. A deployment keeps billing until it is torn down, and a failed deployment can leave resources behind. We surface this in the dashboard, but the account is yours.
  • The credentials you give us. Use keys scoped to the permissions the deploy form lists, and revoke them if you stop using the service.
  • What happens in your meetings. You are responsible for the content, for the people you admit, and for complying with the law where you and your participants are. If you need consent to record, getting it is yours.
  • Your domain and DNS, if you use a custom domain.

What we are responsible for

  • Running the automation as described, and telling you accurately what it did. If a step fails, we show you the failure rather than hiding it.
  • Acting on your cloud credentials only to perform deployments, changes and teardowns you initiate.
  • Handling your data as set out in our Privacy Policy.
  • Telling you before we change these terms in a way that affects you.

Acceptable use

You may not use the service to:

  • Break the law, or help anyone else do so.
  • Host meetings whose purpose is harassment, abuse, or the distribution of illegal material.
  • Attack, overload or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, or to anyone else's.
  • Deploy into a cloud account you are not authorised to use.
  • Resell the deployment platform as your own without a separate written agreement. White-label branding of a licensed meeting deployment is allowed.

Feature licenses and billing

Paid features are one-time licenses assigned to the deployment shown in the purchase request. They are not recurring subscriptions. Feature prices and bundle discounts are listed in the pricing section and the capabilities they unlock are enforced per deployment.

A license remains assigned to that deployment while the deployment record exists. It does not automatically transfer to another server, account or deployment. Contact support before replacing a licensed deployment if you need a transfer reviewed.

Feature pricing does not include cloud compute, storage, bandwidth, third-party transcription charges, ongoing administration or custom engineering. Your cloud provider bills its usage directly for as long as resources exist.

Custom scaling work is quoted only after a technical assessment. Its scope, support and acceptance terms are agreed separately. Refund eligibility is set out in the refund policy.

Availability

We aim to keep the platform available and will tell you about planned maintenance, but we do not offer an uptime guarantee except under a separate agreement. Note that our dashboard being down does not stop your meeting servers: they run in your account and keep serving meetings independently of us.

Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for cloud charges you incur, or for loss of data held in your own cloud account. Our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Ending it

You can stop using the service and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms, and except in serious cases we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix it first.

When it ends, your servers keep running in your cloud account until you destroy them. Tear them down first if you do not want to keep paying your cloud provider for them.

Changes and contact

If these terms change materially we will update the date above and notify account holders. Questions about any of this are welcome through our contact page.
